The alliance between Abrava (Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Heating) and Fapro highlighted the postgraduate degree in Air Conditioning Engineering – EAD. The EAD modality was made available to the Brazilian market in 2018, based on a conversation between the Director of Fapro, Prof. Dr. Alexandre Fernandes Santos, and the current president of Abrava, Eng. Arnaldo Basile, and since then it has been gaining strength year after year.
The importance of professional qualification in the HVAC-R sector aims to meet the diverse demands and challenges of the four sectors, especially in relation to good engineering practices in air quality and energy efficiency, especially in this pandemic period, and when it passes.
Arnaldo Basile, president of Abrava, explains that by the end of this year more than 350 students will be trained through the educational alliance with Fapro.
"The result exceeded our expectations and demonstrates the recognition of both institutions by students and professionals in the HVAC-R sector. What we are most proud of is seeing the increase in the employability of students, which will contribute to improving the quality of life of our Society," says Basile.

The alliance with Abrava is fundamental for the expansion of the course in the domestic market.
