Mexico. Stulz announces the appointment of Emigdio Granillo, as its new general director for Mexico, which seeks to strengthen its position to achieve total leadership in this country, with an ambitious expansion plan with a view to 2023.
"Emigdio has been a key piece for the positioning of the company in the country, under his leadership as commercial director we achieved a growth of more than 10 percentage points in the marketshare of the company in 2019. We are convinced that the combination of his young vision and his great expertise will be fundamental to maintain the brand's growth focus in the region and open the way to new sectors," says Axel Schneider, President of Stulz Mexico and CEO of Stulz Spain.
Among the objectives of Granillo is to position Stulz as the leading brand in mission-critical solutions for Data Centers throughout the country, in accordance with an upward trend that was already observed, since at the end of 2019 the company achieved a marketshare of 28% nationwide, being the central region of the country the one that demands more solutions with 65%, 15% in the Northeast, 15% in the shoal area and 5% in the rest of the country.
"In recent years we have achieved excellent results, so we believe that by 2023 we will be the number ONE brand in providing precision air conditioning solutions for mission-critical applications in Mexico. We will maintain the positioning in the central, northeast and shoal areas, at the same time we will strengthen our presence in the southern region and the border line, to achieve total coverage, "explains Granillo, adding that "Mexico is a key market for the Data Center sector and is in a moment of great growth, in Stulz we have witnessed this development since its inception so we understand the needs and challenges of the market".
Stulz began operations in Mexico in 2014 and has a presence in 140 countries. It currently cooperates with different organizations in Mexico and the rest of the world such as ICREA and UPTIME INSTITUTE. In the first half of 2021 it registered a rebound in its operations of 6%, due to this good development it expects to end the year with a marketshare of 34%. In addition to opening up new sectors such as Industry 4.0 and the construction sector, in which it intends to have a 16% stake by the end of 2021.
