Chile. The multinational commercial refrigeration group for food distribution, Epta, acquired the Chilean company Sociedad Ingeniería y Mantención VPP Limitada, a specialist in the engineering, installation and maintenance of refrigeration systems in retail, rental and sale of refrigerated cabinets and spare parts.
This operation will allow Epta to consolidate its position in the country where it has been operating since 2013 with Epta Chile SpA through the acquisition of Portanuova.
The agreement is part of the Group's internationalization strategy, that is, to expand its direct presence with technical and commercial branches. The Group's commitment coincides with VPP's mission, which aims to be recognized as the best company in the country for services dedicated to the world of commercial refrigeration. Founded in 2008, it works with four branches in the main regions of Chile and has alliances with leading local and international chains. It also has a team of more than 100 technicians.
