United States. The AHR Expo organization announced in a statement that it is considering postponing the planned event from January 25 to 27, 2021 in Chicago. The possible dates, still unconfirmed, would be for March 15 to 17.
"In an effort to explore all options, we recently conducted a survey among exhibitors, as well as our co-sponsoring groups, about the possibility of rescheduling the event in person for March 15 and 17, 2021," the organization says.
The pandemic and some updated restrictions for the City of Chicago are the main factors in moving the event around: "We remain dedicated to the safety and well-being of all our guests and continue to examine current events and how they may affect AHR Expo 2021. Given the uncertainty of the pandemic in combination with the change of restrictions by the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago, we believe that changing the dates to provide an additional seven weeks to plan and prepare for may be a wise decision."
