Latin America. The Air Quality Council of the Federation of Ibero-American Associations of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration FAIAR composed of experts from Spain, Brazil and Colombia supported by experts from Chile, Mexico, Paraguay and Portugal worked for more than 24 months to develop the recommendations for the Ibero-American Faiar Standard for indoor air quality control in buildings – CAI, the standard compiles existing standards in Latin America and offers guide values, test methods and inspection.
The standard includes topics such as Description of the Indoor Air Quality Control Plan Process; Inventory of aspects or elements that interact with indoor environmental quality, Indoor air quality inspection: assessment, corrective actions, periodic control, among others.
The application of the standard allows to improve productivity and air quality in spaces such as offices, educational institutions, among others.
