United States. Carrier InterAmerica successfully held its well-attended Dealer Convention which took place in Orlando, Florida, last February. The event was attended by more than 150 attendees from Central America, the Caribbean and the Andean region.
The meeting was composed of three days of activities of interest to the participants. On the first day, attendees enjoyed a visit to Carrier's Smart Building Center (CIB). During this visit the participants were able to enjoy under one roof, all the technological advances of United Technologies Corporation (UTC), which is the only leed Platinum certified building in the state of Florida, the first of its kind, this being a center of collaboration, technology and innovation, where the products and integrated systems of Carrier and United Technologies are shown in operation.
That same day, as usual, Carrier recognized excellence in results to its core Distributors during awards night at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, located in the heart of downtown Orlando.
"We are very pleased with the participation received in this event, our goal is to continue providing our network of distributors and allied companies with the most up-to-date information, in addition to bringing them experts in topics of global interest in order to enrich everyone's knowledge. This event also connects us by giving us an opportunity to share and exchange ideas with our dealer community," said Alexander Occupati, General Manager of Carrier Interamerica.
On the second day, in the General Session and informative talks, attendees began their day with a message from management about the company's plans for the future, followed by the presentation of an Expert Panel. This panel featured stellar presenters in the field of green buildings and sustainability. Likewise, the Product Managers of the Carrier factory, Toshiba and Carrier Sales Managers shared the latest news: the launch of the Weather Series package with Ecoblue technology, the new high efficiency in the Infinity line, in addition to other product lines that come to complement the wide portfolio of Carrier InterAmerica.
