Chile. The Chilean Chamber of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning recently signed a collaboration agreement with the University of Santiago de Chile, in order to regulate cooperation between the university and the chamber, in the scientific, cultural, teaching, pedagogical technical fields, administrative and student technician, to allow the development of research projects, teaching and extension programs and realization of academic events in areas of interest.
The agreement was signed by the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Juan Carlos Espinoza Ramírez and the president of the Chilean Chamber of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning A.G., Peter Yufer Sulzer.
Thus materializing the common interest in promoting cooperation and collaboration for academic, scientific and technological development, seeking a practical application of knowledge for the benefit of society. Integrating the resources of both institutions to generate greater quality, coverage, efficiency and reduce costs in the fulfillment of common objectives, which will be reflected in:
- Development of joint research projects.
- Promote the academic mobility of students and academics.
- Organization of academic events.
- Evaluation and certification of labor competencies.
- Exchange of publications, research papers and any type of academic materials that are of interest, as well as joint publications in condition with national or foreign publishers of the institutional and commercial field.
- Formulate and manage specific projects of mutual interest and as far as possible with external financing resources, through international cooperation entities and other collaborations of mutual interest.
This agreement is valid for two years from the moment it is signed, however, the parties may extend or terminate it if they require it.
