Peru. Cold Import and Eletrofrio delivered the first 100% organic Food Refrigeration project to the Tottus Supermarket Chain, using CO2 as a refrigerant in a trans-critical system. This project ended last December.
This fluid, totally ecological and friendly to the environment and above all for its excellent efficiency allows a saving of 35% less electricity consumption. It is the first in Peru developed and implemented by Cold Import and Eletrofrio (Brazil) with excellent results and state-of-the-art technology at the height of other South American countries such as Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
Cold Import and Eletrofrio carried out the first CO2 Food Refrigeration project in a sub-critical system two years ago, also with the Tottus Supermarket chain, in this case it was the first in the region. They have already installed 12 of these systems in Peru.
The Integrated System is another innovative solution, installed by Cold Import and Eletrofrio with excellent results, consists of a single cold center that allows the supply of fluid to cool the showcases and frozen chambers and also for the Air Handling Units (UMAS) of the Air Conditioning system of the supermarket and above all a substantial energy saving is achieved the ectrica for the high efficiency of the system.

Other projects they have carried out in the Supermarket Chain Tottua start the development of their emblematic and innovative projects in Peru. The first were the following:

2) Integrated System – Tottus Villa El Salvador.
