Brazil. Tecumseh Brazil inaugurated its first Corporate University in Latin America, with which it aims to achieve the distribution of its knowledge in the launch of new products and technologies, to its network of customers and distributors present throughout Latin America.
The space now inaugurated, known as "Tecumseh Corporate University", has an environment specially designed so that its students (including officials, clients and / or clients of their clients) receive first-hand specialized training, directly presented by highly trained professionals.
The courses will be offered, in principle, four times a year, with the theme of the training of "Tecumseh Refrigeration Specialists". This training includes classes distributed between theory 40% and the remaining 60% will be dedicated to practical activities in refrigeration, simulation in "software" specific to the area, "online" consultations, theoretical and applied exercises. Inside the classroom environment there is a multimedia laboratory equipped with TV, computers and complete cooling systems that will be used throughout the course by the students. A detailed theoretical material will accompany the students throughout three days of total immersion, in which the students will learn more about the origins of refrigeration, refrigerant fluids, lubricants, compressors, condensing units and selection software.
The University's classrooms also offer a space for the socialization of students in training, allowing participants to relax during intervals, strengthen their contacts with new colleagues and, at the same time, appreciate the beautiful landscape of Tecumseh's internal gardens. Students will have contact with the newest technologies developed by Tecumseh, among which are: inverter compressors and condensing units equipped with IoT technology – "Internet of things" (technology in which Tecumseh is a pioneer in Brazil in its segment).
The package of novelties to be presented is complemented with contacts with equipment powered by solar energy.
