Peru. The Ministry of Production developed an application for its country called OzonoAPP, with the aim that professionals and technicians of the industry in refrigeration and air conditioning consult in a practical way the values of the pressure and temperature tables of the different refrigerant gases existing in the market and which are suitable use without affecting the Ozone Layer, promoting good practices in this sector.
Likewise, the application allows you to view news related to the subject, manage a catalog of refrigerant equipment and register for seminars and courses. It also contains information on the scope of the Montreal Protocol and the procedures for importing controlled refrigerants, refrigeration equipment and air conditioning into Peru.
It should be noted that it is the first mobile application developed by a country within the framework of the Montreal Protocol.
The Ministry of Production (PRODUCE) is the Focal Point of the Montreal Protocol in Peru and through the General Directorate of Environmental Affairs of Industry implements national measures for the correct fulfillment of this agreement. Activities include training technicians in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector in good practices in the use and handling of refrigerants, as well as import control of refrigerant substances and equipment containing them. The United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Environment Programme support the Ministry of Production in achieving the goals set out in the Montreal Protocol.
The app is available for Android devices in Peru. You can download it by clicking here.
