Colombia. This Thursday, February 9 , the Pontifical Bolivarian University, the United States Agency for International Development – USAID and Colciencias, will present interesting projects related to the HVAC industry.
Under the name of "Sustainable Air Conditioning for Cities of the Future", the projects "Integration of energy-efficient technologies in air conditioning systems operated with thermal energy" and the so-called "Implementation of an air conditioning system with solar energy using an absorption cooling cycle" will be presented. on".
César Alejandro Isaza, research professor at the UPB and leader of the project, commented in this regard that the contribution they have made with this "consists of integrating some energy-efficient technologies to provide comfort conditions, but with equipment that consumes little energy, even that consumes it from renewable energies; in this way we are contributing to companies to have low energy consumption, mitigate the environmental impacts that the suso of conventional energy has on the environment to guarantee what is known by the term sustainable construction".
