The Colombian Council of Energy Efficiency as an authorized organizer of EVO (Energy Valuation Organization) trainings announced the realization of the first training course and examination for Professional Certification in Measurement and Verification CMVP (acronym in English).
The course will be held in the city of Bogotá from November 23 to 26 in Spanish. The objectives of this course are to increase the standard of professionals involved in M&V. Promote the application of good M&V practices and the development of professionals in M&V. Identify professionals with knowledge in M&V principles and practices to guarantee their competence. Increase levels of trust and credibility in the M&V process of energy savings to reduce the risk perception of investors, developers and promoters of energy efficiency projects.
EVO is an international non-profit organization that developed and actively promotes the implementation of the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP).
