Built with Danfoss technologies, it is the first cold storage incorporated into European standards in India, offering minimal food loss from farm to consumer.
With a capacity of 5,000 tonnes, the model cold storage offers platform-based storage and complies with food safety standards and Indian Authority Standards (FSSAI). The multi-commodity cold storage is designed to operate at -25°C to +10°C year-round, and uses Danfoss Variable Frequency Devices (VFDs), valve stations and control system for defrosting tracking and control.
The company ensures that using this cold storage, customers can store food, even at variable loads—which ensures high quality food safety and minimal food loss from farm to consumer. Apart from superior food quality, the model cold room is also a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution, reducing operating expenses by saving 15 to 20% on the energy costs of a conventional cold store.
