Mexico. DuPont recently confirmed changes in its direction by appointing as president and CEO Claudia Jañez, who will be in charge of the Mexico, Central America and Caribbean regions, replacing Luis Rebollar González, who will now fulfill other responsibilities within the company.
Precisely, Rebollar will now become the president of The Chemours Company-Mexico (an organization that should be constituted by July of this year) and will have the general direction in the area of titanium technologies for Latin America. A little over a year ago DuPont had announced that its High Performance Chemicals segment would be separated, which included the titanium and Chemicals and Fluoroproducts technologies businesses.
For her part, Claudia Jañez has 20 years of professional experience in several transnational companies and at DuPont she has been Legal and Government Relations Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
She has a degree in Law from La Salle University and a specialization in Commercial and Financial Law from universidad Panamericana. He also completed the Lawyers' Instruction program at Harvard and holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the Pan American Institute of Senior Business Management.
