Cuba. The Ozone Technical Office (OTOZ) confirmed that by next January they will continue with the second phase of the Good Practices in Refrigeration Courses that have been developed to train all members of the sector in all provinces.
The topics of the courses are based on the correct management of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) to avoid their emission into the atmosphere, due to the already known impact they generate in the ozone layer and that the country hopes to eliminate progressively until 2030.
This process will also offer knowledge on the correct use of new refrigerants and new environmentally friendly alternative technologies, aimed at engineers, technicians, mechanics and skilled workers.
The OTOZ, through its technical specialists, assured that by the end of this month of November it will comply with a new training cycle for the teachers who will teach the courses.
