Germany. The fair for the air conditioning and refrigeration sector Chillventa, held from October 11 to 13, improved the numbers compared to 2012. For the first time it exceeded 30,000 professional visitors, increasing by 7% compared to the previous exhibition and attracting 984 exhibitors, 70 more than two years ago.
The international participation in Chillventa was also one of the events to highlight in this 2014 edition. 56% of visitors and 67% of exhibitors come from abroad. More than 30,000 visitors represented more than 110 countries around the world.
"Chillventa achieved these records despite the railway strike by the Gewerkschaft der Lokführer (GDL – Machinists' Unions) on the second day and the attendance from Germany also grew appreciably. However, just as important as quantitative data is the quality of trade visitors. The exhibiting companies expressed their appreciation for the professional concentration and the high degree of authority in decision-making," said Alexander Stein, Exhibition Director at Chillventa.
