United States. According to the latest market report published by Supplier Relations, the vehicle air conditioning industry reported profits in 2012 worth US$5.9 billion.
These results mean an estimated gross profit of 20.85%. Similarly, vehicle imports were valued at US$2 billion received from 49 countries.
The industry also exported $6 billion in goods to 95 countries. Adding the value of imports and subtracting that of exports, from the value of industry shipments, total domestic demand in 2012 was US$7.4 billion.
The industry in the United States encompasses establishments that are primarily engaged in the manufacture of air conditioning systems and compressors for motor vehicles, such as automobiles, trucks, buses, airplanes, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, and other related industries.
