International. Daikin revealed in a study that the implementation of the heat pump can reduce heating consumption by about 1,354 euros per year.
The company obtained this average by comparing the expenditure in kw / h of the Heat Pump (Daikin Altherma system) against other heating systems for an average home with measures of around 100m2.
This is how he found that the heat pump consumes 394 euros per year, against 974 for natural gas heating, 1,748 euros for diesel, and 1,622 euros for electric heating system. That is to say, it achieves a saving of 60% related to natural gas, 77% compared to the diesel boiler and 76% compared to the electric one.
Daikin says that other factors such as inverter technology and the use of new refrigerants for cold environments such as R410a, help in the efficiency of the systems.
