Panama. Security officials of the Fire Department from all areas of that country received training in the Seminar on the Pressurization of Stairs, Ventilation of Underground Garages and Kitchen Hoods, which was sponsored by the Panamanian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Apayre).
The event organized by the company Soler & Palau de México served as a technical assistance in the work of plans and inspection of the safety of the buildings. In addition, attendees received literature to update themselves on issues of verification and approval of these systems.
Apayre stressed that he took advantage of the presence of the Mexican company and coordinated with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technological University of Panama, the organization of the ventilation seminar so that both professors and students of mechanical engineering improve their learning.
