International. Ashrae confirmed that it now has a new terminology site called Ashraewiki, where you can find all the common definitions of the association's standards and other publications.
The website www.ashraewiki.org contains more than 6,000 terms related to buildings with a particular focus on mechanics, electricity, lighting, load calculations, design, energy use, measurement indicators, among others.
"Technology, particularly in standards, helps users find the best adoption and use. The goal of this new website is to improve communication through the consistent use of Ashrae terminologies," said Art Hallstrom, a member of Ashrae's technical committee.
The new Ashraewiki can create customized reports of main terms and definitions that will assist in the development of standards, guidelines, manuals and other publications of the Association. Initially, the site will be in English, but later it will have versions in other languages.
