International. The Panamanian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Apayre) revealed in its most recent bulletin that during 2010, according to the Annual Greenhouse Gas Index (AGGI), the emission of HFCs (Hydrofluorocarbons) was 0.605% of the total of this type of gases that were emitted into the atmosphere, a figure that represents a slight increase over that of 2009 which was 0.58% and 0.55% in 2008.
Within that 4%, HFCs (including HFC-134a, HFC-152a, HFC-125, HFC-143a, and HFC-23), are 0.605% of all GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions. In the last 20 years the forcing of all GHG emissions increased 29% (~0.63 W/m2), contributing CO2 about 80% of (~0.50 W/m2) since its increase since 1990 has been approximately 39%.
This gas and nitrous oxide are the only major gases that continue to increase regular rates.
As a result, global temperatures are currently higher by an average of 0.75° Celsius compared to the beginning of the 20th century. In addition, the rate of global warming has been accelerated by carbon dioxide emissions, which have risen globally by 112% since 1970.
