United States. Pat Graef, a member of ASHRAE, and representative of the Munters Corp company, was appointed as vice president of ASHRAE during the last Annual Conference held at the end of June.
As Vice President, Graef is a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee and serves as Vice President of the Technology Council. His other services include membership of the Standard Project Committee 188P, Legionellosis: Risk Management for Building Water Systems, and Technical Committees 3.6, Water Treatment, and 1.10, Cogeneration Systems.
She previously served on the Board of Directors as a director between 2011-14. She began her career in new product development more than 40 years ago as an engineer at Munters. He helped transform Carl Munters' inventions from his Swedish laboratory in the U.S. and other global markets. These technologies include cooling towers, fog removal, evaporative cooling, humidification and dehumidification. Graef further contributed to these innovations with his own patents.
