A space for you

A very special greeting to all our faithful readers of ACR LATINOAMÉRICA, for those who do not know me, my name is Duván Chaverra and I am the new editor of the publication taking the position of Ana María Restrepo, who accompanied us until the last edition of 2012.

In this 2013, we have ahead of us the challenge of improving day by day what has been done in our environment, always thinking about topics that are beneficial in every way for those who take a break from their work or academic obligations and sit down to read the contents that we offer bimonthly for all of you. The commitment is now stronger, for this we hope to continue counting on those who have agreed to participate in different ways in our environment, and keep in mind that we will also be willing to listen to new suggestions and proposals that allow us to enrich the knowledge of all members of the HVAC / R sector. A year of very good things awaits us. Our industry continues to evolve and will now face new purposes that have the sole purpose of getting ahead for the good of their companies and to contribute to the improvement of the sector in economic and technological terms. Although experts speak of a 2013 full of uncertainty due to the economic crises facing the United States and Europe to a greater extent, we know that past experience in 2009 showed that Latin America is prepared to mitigate the consequences and thus overcome the challenges that lie ahead. We must also bear in mind that issues related to energy saving and environmental protection will continue to be part of the daily talks between colleagues and consumer inquiries who intend to acquire equipment and systems at the forefront. So let's not forget our responsibility as members of the industry and inhabitants of the same world. I wish you all the best successes in this new year and remember that you have in ACR LATIN AMERICA a space willing to serve you and contribute to everything you need.
