Are we friendly to the environment?

Climate change has proposed a new scheme of care for the environment, which some of us comply with or support and others do not, and it is not entirely easy to be ecological, because many of the equipment we use or the things we do daily affect the environment.

I think many of us have measured our carbon footprint, the one that analyzes our emissions in terms of mobility, food, goods we own, household activities, and we know that the results are not at all encouraging. We are an industry that has always been in the crosshairs for the use of refrigerants, but we also work to mitigate it and make the change to refrigerants that are not harmful, we seek to raise awareness on this issue and work hand in hand with governments to promote change. But outside of this, the HVAC/R industry is concerned with the creation of efficient, sustainable and sustainable equipment and solutions that allow the installation and integration of systems that help mitigate climate change and take care of the environment, while improving the quality of life of users, as we see in RefriAméricas and TecnoEdficios. The awareness of the friendly with the environment is reflected in the different areas of this industry. Integrators and professionals now seek to deliver quality projects that meet ecological parameters and help reduce electricity and water consumption, manage natural lighting and of course, be part of certification programs that are not taken for fashion, but to help the planet. ACR LATINOAMÉRICA supports its work and tends to provide industry professionals, as well as end users, with the necessary information to guide them in this environmental task, it is for them that I invite them to be an active part of the academic programming of RefriAméricas and TecnoEdificios, to tell us their projects, their ideas and work together for it. I invite you to write to us arestrepo@acrlatinoamerica and give us your suggestions.
