Medellin. The Asociación de Gestores de Edificios Modernos (AGEM) selected Expo TecnoEdificios as the stage for its official presentation. Within the framework of the Congress, a panel sponsored by this association will be held and will serve as a sample of the work it has done during the last year.
The panel called "How to generate value in a building", which will be free to enter, will have the participation of three experts in land management issues and will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 4:30 p.m. (local time).
Federico Estrada, manager of La Lonja; Carlos Saavedra, general manager of ACEIS, and Diego Restrepo, director of the Social Institute of Housing and Habitat of Medellín ISVIMED, will talk about the aspects and elements that make a building valued from its operation, administration and maintenance.
AGEM is the first organization in Colombia that brings together those people who manage, administer, operate or are responsible for the maintenance of the new generation of buildings in the Andean Region.
Max Jaramillo, promoter of this initiative, said that "our main objective is to create a community in which building managers can be trained and grow in the professional field; in addition, after almost a year of work I think we are mature enough to undertake new and larger projects."
Similarly, faced with the motivations for the realization of this panel, he explained that "the partners of AGEM have stated that one of the needs of the sector is training and advice on the different issues that converge in the modernization of buildings."
TecnoEdificios 2012 will take place on November 8 and 9 at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center in Medellín, Colombia.
