Colombia. Emergency plan, safety, fire solutions, energy saving, automation and waste management, were the main topics selected by building managers as the most relevant in terms of training to be discussed at the next meeting of the Asociación de Gestores de Edificios Modernos (AGEM).
The results showed that topics such as Energy Saving (84%), Fire Systems (84%) and Emergency Plan (74%) delimit the needs of professionals in this area to be discussed in a meeting that was previously agreed for mid-February in Medellín, after the first meeting held in December with a group of interested in participating in the Association (see note Building Managers, committed to AGEM).
The survey explained that among the specific issues that building managers want to know are the need to have a design and advice before making purchases of equipment, know the electronic costs before and after the construction of a modern building, profitability solid waste management, emergency and evacuation plans, among others.
AGEM is a Latin American proposal that seeks to bring together a group of professional building managers and create a space to improve training, training and specialization opportunities.
