Colombia. Two novelties are presented at the tecnoEdificios 2011 Programa Académico. The first has to do with the inclusion of a new speaker, who will give the talk called The management of security in the XXI century: Risk analysis, which is part of the security panel.
The speaker is the CPP Jaime Owens, in charge of the supervision of the Protection and Surveillance Unit in the Atlantic Sector of the Panama Canal, and who will talk about the importance of implementing security in a commercial or corporate building. "This basic eight-step proposal will shed light on a methodology for managing risks. It is an indispensable instrument both for those who manage the security of a company, as well as for external consultants and equipment distributors," he said.
Owens has more than 22 years of experience in the security field. He has had the opportunity to participate as a speaker on security issues at the 50th Annual Seminar of ASIS International (Dallas, Texas). In addition, he was the only Latin American recognized as a collaborator of the Protection of Assets (POA) Manual (2009), considered the most important reference document for protection in the world.
The second novelty has to do with a modification in the speaker in charge of dictating the leed certification talk with a focus on BAS systems. The person who will dictate it will be Sergio Ramírez, who serves as head of automation of the G4S Technology line for EBC Ingeniería and has more than 15 years of experience in the sector. The theme will be the same as it was programmed from the beginning with Oscar Silva.
TecnoEdificios 2011 will be held on November 9 and 10 at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center. For more information and to reserve your place go to www.tecnoedificios.com
