More than 120 people attended the first conference of TecnoEdificios 2010, dictated by Dr. Héctor Torres with the theme "Administration of electronic and physical security in a building" where he emphasized that the security of a building cannot be considered as an expense for the company, but as part of the investment in the protection of assets of a commercial building. Héctor Torres, who currently serves as vice president of security management at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, also described some protection measures that contribute to increasing profits, such as the identification of current or potential sources of losses and their prevention due to accidents.
Torres also explained measures that help increase competitive advantage over other companies, such as developing contacts with law enforcement agencies, firefighters and medical emergencies as a way to ensure their immediate response in case of need; Creating a healthy and safe environment for employees, visitors and customers can help attract new businesses and commercial tenants through the company's protection program.
The Commercial Exhibition of TecnoEdificios 2010 has 19 stands of international exhibitors, where visitors can learn about the latest trends and technologies in different industries, in addition to the Business Roundtable where attendees can interact with suppliers and make new business contacts.
