The EV245B is the new piston valve that Danfoss has incorporated into its range of products. This high-capacity equipment is designed with durability features for steam applications and increased functionality. The servo-operated valve covers three temperature ranges with its coils: the direct current BB coil, ideal for temperatures up to 140°C; the alternating current BB and BN direct current coils, suitable for temperatures up to 160°C and for high temperatures the alternating current BQ coils can cope with temperatures up to 185°C. To prevent leakage, this system incorporates the alignment of the double guide piston and the additional closing spring, while the stainless steel valve plate protects the seal surface. Additionally, the piston ring is made of PTFE reinforced carbon and the main hole seal is made of reinforced fiberglass, which extends the life of the valve and improves resistance to high temperatures. The valve is ideal for all clean steam applications, such as autoclaves and laundry equipment.
