When talking about environmentally friendly air conditioners, it is necessary to mention Lennox's new R-410 A, a chlorine-free refrigerant that meets the environmental requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
This new system delivers up to 18.0 SEER efficiency with the Prodigy control unit and SmartWire system that reduces setup time.
The R-410A is also known for improving the reliability, quieter operation, improved heat and higher performance of the dehumidification pump. Since its chemical composition lacks chlorine, it does not present the risk of ozone depletion found in other refrigerants such as R-22.
