Ridgid's TC-40 tube cutter provides quick cuts without the need for ratchet, which is ideal for plumbing and air conditioning contractors, especially in the installation of plastic plumbing systems, drain lines and CPVC fire sprinkler systems.
This cutter is intended for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PEX, rubber pipes and PVC. It has a capacity of 1.5" up to 8" (42 millimeters) of external diameter and its X-CEL blade can be replaced by simply removing the quick-change bolt.
Likewise, this 2.5-pound power tool is designed with an ergonomic grip that maintains firmness at the time of cutting, and an LED located on the front provides additional illumination for precise cutting in low-light environments.
