Thermal insulation
Armacell launched a new product to the Brazilian market: Armatube, a flexible thermal insulation, with closed cell structure, non-fibrous, made of expanded polyethylene. Armatube is specially designed for aluminium ducts in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Developed at the Armacell research center in Germany, Armatube is suitable for applications in hot water pipes and air conditioning systems, including curves and reductions, with temperatures between -50ºC and 102ºC, contributing to raise the rates of economy.
Free of CFCs and HCFCs, Armatube also has zero ODP (Ozone Depression Potential) and is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 environmental standards.
This insulation is also available in the Armatube S version, coated with a polyethylene protective film that increases weather resistance.
