Energy-efficient motors
Heatcraft Refrigeration Products LLC, announces the introduction of its energy-efficient EC engine, as an option for Bohn, Climate Control and Chandler, refrigeration companies.
EC motors lower energy costs and significantly improve cooler performance. The new engines are 85 percent effective with evaluation data showing an increase in efficiency over two-stroke engines and with an increase of 30 to 40 percent over permanent split capable motors (PSCs).
EC motors are available as an Energy Solutions® option in low-profile, medium-profile, low-speed Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control and Chandler equipment, as well as center chiller units. In addition to supermarkets, restaurants and shops, EC-powered wrappers can be used in warehouses, vineyards and other applications.
