Polypropylene media contain an inherent electrostatic charge that will not wash or diminish over time. The electrostatic charge is enhanced by the friction of airflow over the honeycomb woven surface of the air filter material.

Natural white polypropylene is an FDA-approved component and can be used in food processing applications.
