To improve indoor climate control, Daikin Applied through the Compact Horizontal Water Source Heat Pump offers precise and cost-effective control of dehumidification using a hot gas reheating option known as smart dehumidification.
With smart dehumidification, the humidostat signal diverts the refrigerant gas (high temperature) to the reheating coil located next to the cooling coil.
Among the characteristics of the product is a compact design, economizer in the condensing water circuit, have low noise levels and has sizes 007-070 (1/2 to 6 tons), an EC motor in the fan, hot gas reheating, 4" MERV 13 filter and Microtech control.
In addition, it has the option of the water economizer that helps reduce energy consumption by using the water temperature of the cold circuit to condition a space without activating mechanical cooling.
Even in the coldest climate a space can experience an accumulation of ambient heat coming from people, equipment, lighting and the sun.
The water economizer includes a hydronic cooling hydronic cooling coil, a 3-way motorized valve and a water inlet sensor located upstream of the unit's evaporator coil.
