Refurbished fan filtration units can be installed over any space to provide MERV13 rated filtration and removal of airborne contaminants, thereby reducing the likelihood of exposure to airborne germs and viruses in specific areas.
These fan-driven units are a way to filter the return without modifying the air handler, are easy to install and are available in two options: as a filtered exhaust amplifier and as an air filtration unit.
The first option filters the exhaust air without additional pressure drop. It is designed to fall into existing ducts and provide filtration to the exhaust air before returning to the air handler, suitable for installations where the central air controller cannot accept a higher rated filter.
The second option filters room air through constant air changes, without the need for modifications to existing ducts or other HVAC equipment. It can be installed on a T-bar ceiling or in an exposed duct design, suitable for offices, classrooms or any space that requires increased air filtration.
