The Provincial Council of Córdoba has given the definitive impulse to implement renewable energies in the public buildings of La Granjuela (Córdoba) after having been approved an emergency, in the last local government board of the provincial institution, referring to the contracting file of the supply of materials.
In this regard and as reported by the Provincial Council, the first vice president and delegate of Finance of the provincial institution, Salvador Fuentes, stressed that "the Provincial Council thus maintains the commitment it acquired in March with the City Council. We must invest in actions like this, because they will allow our municipalities to achieve greater energy savings."
Fuentes explained that the amount of this action amounts to 353,281.53 euros, which already includes the tax as VAT, and has indicated that the intervention is included in the Regional Operational Program-Comprehensive Action Plan in the Guadiato Valley, co-financed by the Feder 2007/13.
The City Council of La Granjuela will install these materials through the Employment Workshop School 'Renova'. Therefore, the first vice president of the provincial institution has pointed out that, "in addition to promoting savings, professional training is promoted among the citizens of the municipality."
On the other hand, the local government board of the Diputación de Córdoba has also authorized the provisional continuation of the improvement works of the provincial road CO-3312, between the Cordoban municipalities of Posadas and Fuente Palmera. (EUROPA PRESS)
