The International Whaling Commission (IWC) has been fighting for years against whaling, the largest mammal in the world, it is regrettable to know that this animal is in danger of extinction and this is not due to the pollution of the oceans, but to a direct evil that is causing the human being, whaling.
While the IWC together with many countries and environmental organizations, work together to solve this environmental problem by defending this mammal, other countries without conscience hunt them mercilessly, the main predator of whales is Japan, it has several whaling ships under the pretext that they are used for scientific research, Iceland and Norway are also countries that are dedicated to whaling.
The good news is that these organizations (such as the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society vessels) that managed to get Japan to temporarily suspend its whaling on February 10, 2011, have been able to document violent hunts and now have stronger evidence to be able to continue fighting against this great problem.
