This Thursday, October 8, from 11:00 a.m. (Colombia/Peru GMT-5) we broadcast the webcast live with Andrés Felipe Romero, research professor in the Energy Research and Innovation Group (GiiEN), of the Pascual Bravo University Institution. With him we talked about the project "Early warnings in air conditioning systems to avoid sudden failure of components".
This project was awarded first place during the student project competition that took place during the ACAIRE Expo held last August in the city of Medellín.
In this project an early warning system was developed to avoid sudden failure in split type air conditioning systems, through the acquisition of operation data through low-cost sensors and microcontrollers, the use of fuzzy logic allowed to determine the possible occurrence of a failure and its causes during the operation of the refrigeration and air conditioning system, which facilitated the scheduling of the corresponding preventive and/or corrective maintenance tasks based on the actual operating condition of the equipment and its components.
