The biggest cut involves the total elimination of weather conditioning funds for low-income households. ACEEE Policy Director Bill Prindle commented, "This budget is running low when it comes to investing in efficiency as the main element in the race to energy security," adding, "The energy department's priority should be to control our energy use, but this budget does not reflect such a thing."
