Colombia. On April 15, the Colombia Chapter of ASHRAE will hold the Technical Conference "Building Automation Systems for High Performance Buildings" which will be held at the acaire headquarters in the city of Bogotá.
The conference will be held from 2 to 6:00 p.m. and is aimed at the sustainable construction guild in Colombia, engineers, architects, contractors, building owners and anyone related to the optimization of energy consumption of buildings.
The program includes topics related to the general vision of the BAS, impact of the BAS in LEED O+M, role of the BAS in LEED NC. It will be presented by speakers Scott Seigel, GGAC Vice President of ASHRAE Region XII, and José Luis Correa, Eng., MSc, LEED AP O+M. Senior Consultant in Sustainable Construction at KW Ingeniería and President-Elect of ASHRAE-Colombia.
