Colombia. With an investment of around US$1 million, the Camilo Daza International Airport in Cúcuta will be intervened to begin the works with which they will air condition all the common areas of the air terminal located in the north of the country.
This was confirmed by the concessionaire Aeropuertos de Oriente S.A.S., which stressed that the works will take approximately nine months and will begin on March 2. "Today will begin the preliminary phase of the new works related to the adaptation of the façade and the air conditioning system," explained Mariela Vergara, manager of Aeropuertos de Oriente, in statements published by the portal www.portafolio.co
The airport had already advanced part of the works covering a total of 5,311 m2, where boarding areas, luggage receipt rooms and offices were air-conditioned. "After completing the modernization works, we set ourselves the goal of air conditioning the public areas as follows: 1,558 square meters on the first floor and 1,608 m² for the second. The estimated execution time is nine months," said the senior executive.
