International. Greenheck's laboratory exhaust ventilation systems, Vektor-H and Vektor-SA received Miami-Dade NOA Certification and Florida Product Approval. The Vektor-H, a high-tuft fan with a fixed discharge nozzle, and the vector-HS, a high-tuft fan with variable geometry nozzle are the first systems of this kind in the industry to be certified to high wind standards.
Both have been tested and approved in accordance with TAS 201: Large Missile Impact, TAS 202: Uniform Static Pressure and ASTM E72 (modified) for debris regions carried by winds of up to 140 PSF.
The advantages of NOA Certification include faster project approval; that no special cabinets are needed throughout the laboratory exhaust system to meet construction requirements; and reducing the first cost of construction by eliminating unnecessary conduits that run into these enclosures. NOA Certification is available systems and fans of 1x1, 2x1 and 3x1 of measures from 9 to 36.
