United States. From June 28 to July 2, the Ashrae Annual Conference will be held in the city of Seattle, a place that is being recognized for its progress in "green" doctrines.
The Technical Program begins on June 29 with interactive programs and a network coffee, and concludes on July 2. The programme addresses general topics in the application of technology to practice, specific applications in geothermal heat pumps, operations and maintenance and indoor environmental quality, as well as reports on research carried out around the world.
The Conference also features the second Annual Ashrae Research Summit, which features innovations in HVAC&R research, with special emphasis on high-performance design and building its role in the clean energy economy, and brings together outside researchers to present and discuss the latest research. Researchers present papers, seminars and forums or participate in round tables. In addition, in the light tones the ongoing research funded Ashrae is presented.
In addition, attendees will be able to participate in courses offered by the Ashrae Learning Institute, including two all-day professional development seminars and short half-day courses the following seven days. There will be a new course on building demand response and the smart grid coming soon.
Ashrae will also offer its Building Energy Assessment Professional (BEAP) and Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP) exams on July 1.
