Brazil. With more than ten years of production and sale of evaporative air conditioners, the gaucho company Joape obtained the registration of "Joape System" developed in its equipment in the country. The innovative system was granted an intellectual or industrial property patent.
"We were already patented in the United States and Mexico, and now we also manufacture exclusively in Brazil. This is an achievement of the company, since whoever buys or sells a similar product, which is not of our manufacture will commit a crime of piracy," said João Henrique Schmidt (pictured), director of Joape.
Products manufactured with this system emit a fine spray of air absorbed by water without wetting people or objects in the environment. In addition to reducing the temperature, the design helps in the cleaning and hydration of the air. The low energy consumption is also an advantage, especially compared to an air conditioner. The company says that some models are up to 90% cheaper than a normal air conditioner.
