Venezuela. According to the Minister for Industries, Ricardo Menéndez, on March 25, the first production line of the Planicie del Orinoco industrial refrigeration equipment factory was inaugurated, in Temblador, Monagas state.
The plant, which seeks to boost the cold chain for different industries, including the agricultural sector, will have the capacity to produce the equivalent of 50 industrial refrigeration cavas.
This first plant is part of a group of three that are distributed in the states of Monagas, Aragua and Yaracuy. According to the Deputy Minister of Planning of Industrial Policies, Yuri Pimentel, the plant was born as a result of the alliance that the Venezuelan nation achieved with its counterpart in Argentina.
