Mexico. At the beginning of August of this year, the Mexico City Chapter held a new Meeting of Ashrae, a technical session that was presented by the new board of directors led by Eng. Magdalena Castillo, president of this Latin American chapter.
Within this meeting, they offered the talk "State-of-the-art technology for air conditioning systems and LEED certification", which was in charge of Eng. Carolina González, from York, who highlighted the performance of air conditioning systems as one of the primary factors to achieve LEED Certification.
Then they presented the topic "General Aspects of LEED, the basis for a sustainable future", by Eng. Carlos Hernández, of Johnson Controls, who mentioned the most important points of the LEED Certification, such as the categories of certification, the credits necessary to obtain them, objectives.
