The project provides incentives for consumers to improve heating and cooling equipment and provides funding for the federal government, states and cities to improve the efficient use of energy in buildings and schools.
For consumers, for example, this plan includes a generous 30% tax credit for the purchase of solar heaters and geothermal heating systems. For their part, government entities will enjoy benefits such as the allocation of 9.75 billion dollars to modernize and renew the heating and cooling systems of schools.
