RefriAméricas got it right in Panama

The twelfth version of the Expo Congreso RefriAméricas 2015 was completed with total success, which was held for the first time in Panamanian territory. The results were very satisfactory.

by Duván Chaverra Agudelo

After eleven years in Colombia, RefriAméricas decided to try a new market, quite desired by the entire Latin American sector due to its excellent image both commercial and tourist destination. The result could not be better, before its realization, the fair already had the support of more than 67 companies that would present their services and products, trusting in the market of the Central American country.

Well, after the expo - congress, which was held on June 4 and 5 at the Hotel El Panama, RefriAméricas received about 2,000 attendees in total during the two days of the fair, this being a more than satisfactory result for both exhibitors, visitors and organization, because the objective was met.

Positive feedback

The reactions were not long in coming, speakers, visitors and exhibitors showed their satisfaction with the event. In fact, the exhibition plan for 2016 already has the confirmation of almost all the companies present this year and the participation of new brands, which will now be present in a new venue: Atlapa Convention Center (June 2 and 3, 2016).

For example, Horacio Harrys, from Samsung Latin America, exhibitor of the event and Platinum sponsor, said that "it has been very useful to see all these companies participating, there were very complete stands and we could see the wide range of services. We received people from Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and other countries and the truth is that it was very profitable to have done this fair here in Panama."

For his part, one of the outstanding speakers such as Juan Arias, from Güntner, commented: "It has been a pleasure to be in Panama. We were lucky enough to give a lecture where many people participated and showed interest in learning about new technologies in refrigeration; we hope to be in the future, also serving and visiting customers."

Another important opinion is that of the attendees who visited the commercial exhibition and were present at the conferences, as is the case of Felipe Reyes, maintenance manager of the King of Panama Group, who said about the event that "in summary, I found the conferences very interesting and productive. It has been of great value to listen to the experiences of the exhibitors, of high level. The professional exchange was also productive. On the side of the fair, some valuable contacts were made that we could exploit with our project people and especially design".

Likewise, Ferney Velásquez, from Refrigeration FW 2002, shared his appreciation: "I am pleased to give my humble opinion of this event of the year 2015 which once again fills all academic expectations and a wide range of exhibitors of technical products; I also thank with great joy the care that is seen so that the event of our branch of work is well reflected and of sophisticated technical value for the day-to-day advancement of our branch of work as it is the refrigerator. I say goodbye without first giving you a heartfelt applause to your event and keep it that way."

Meanwhile, Paulino Correa, from PCS Aires Acondicionados, said that "the conferences have been very good, one is filled with knowledge by all the exhibitions presented by the engineers. The truth is that a lot was learned."

There is no doubt that RefriAméricas was right with its presence in Panama and hopes to continue counting on the support of industry players for its next versions. The organization will continue to work hard to offer an event that meets the expectations of all its participants. The appointment is on June 2 and 3, 2016 of the Atlapa Convention Center. We are waiting for you!
