International. Panasonic implemented HVAC solutions in the Olympic Village of the 2020 Olympic Games that were recently held in Tokyo.
The brand was also the supplier of its technologies within the village, stadiums and different developments that are part of the legacy of this summer fair.
Based on previous studies and a series of interviews with various athletes and staff, the brand managed to provide solutions to problems that had been visible in editions of previous games. Thus achieving, give the Olympics, a safe, different, sustainable space with technological tools that are making your stay and participation much more pleasant.
The solutions include air conditioners equipped with Nanoe X technology, with which, an optimal indoor air quality and an inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 are achieved, since, the technology reaches the virus, the hydroxyl radicals denature the lipids and proteins included in its envelope and thus, manages to be inhibited.
Nanoe™ X technology is a device that generates hydroxyl radicals present in water (nano-sized electrostatic atomized water particle), which purify and deodorize the air and surfaces of a given space with 99%* efficiency by neutralizing different types of contaminants, such as bacteria, viruses, mold, allergens, pollen, dangerous PM2.5 particles, and even substances responsible for the bad odors common in enclosed spaces.
Panasonic says that the Nanoe™ X technology (currently Mark 2) is the only one that has managed to generate them independently, in greater quantity (9.6 trillion per second) and significantly more durable (up to 10 minutes of useful life) to make the most of its pollutant neutralizing power. Nanoe™ X is based on a maintenance-free filter solution made with titanium and can operate independently of heating or cooling.
It is worth mentioning that, in Mexico you can find the Nanoe™ X technology in the Air Conditioning Mini Split Premium Inverter CS-S12WKV, the Single Split cassette S-24PU2V6-6 (also in capacities 34 and 48) and as an additional accessory for the VRF S-22MU2E5A (also in capacities 28, 36, 45, 56, 60, 73, 90, 106, 140 and 160), where it joins other eco-intelligent technologies such as Inverter and Econavi, focused on offering users maximum comfort and energy efficiency.
Taking into account that every day a person breathes around 18 kg of air, Panasonic seeks to continue contributing to improve indoor air quality in different places around the world.
